Wesley UMC is a “Prayer Covenant Congregation”. This means that our members work toward finding intentional time for God at least one hour a day. That may be through prayer, study, devotionals and more. We also strive to continue to expand our prayer life through opportunities to learn more about prayer and how it may enhance our faith.
Our prayer group meets weekly at 10:00 am every Tuesday morning in the John Phillips Room (Room 1 near the sanctuary) to pray for the prayers of the congregation, the community and the world.
We also have a Prayer shawl ministry. You can knit or crochet a prayer shawl and can be given to someone in need of prayers or comfort.
